a thing I learned about myself relatively recently;

A picture of 2 red squares that appear nearly identical, but have a very slight hue difference; one with an X over it's head and the other with a Checkmark.

Done. Let me know what you think? TIDAL WETLANDS, Acrylic, 16x16” ©️2025 Jim Musil #art #painting JimMusil.com/originals/p/tidal-wetlands

This is a fun simple composition with the winding river providing the visual path to a richly colored sky. The contrast between those rich saturated colors of the sky and the deep dark greens of the marsh create a lot of drama and impact.

I love my Seikret and my Palico.

A piece of fanart for Monster Hunter Wilds, depicting a little anthropomorphic cat, a Palico, riding on the back of a raptor-like mount.

show me how you draw / paint women 💖 brother given the opportunity I draw nothing BUT women

A color illustration of a dragon-kin woman with deep blue skin, tall curved horns with a glowing crescent moon between them, closed eyes, and long wavy hair that goes from indigo at the top to pale rosy-gold at the ends in a gradient. She is dressed in a dark blue gown with gold trim and accessories, as well as sheer blue cloth overlaid on top, and she's holding a large pale gold sword with blue roses and purple thorns decorating the guard. The background is an art nouveau-style graphic primarily consisting of gold celestial designs over an indigo base.

A color illustration of a gorgon woman. She has pale and darker green skin/scales, thick dark green cobra hair separated by narrow horns, and a long tapering tail/lower half. She is dressed primarily in a dark green bustier with gold trim and accessories, and is holding two crossed swords behind her head. The background is an art nouveau-style panel of ivy and thorns on a black-to-yellow gradient.

A color illustration of a tiefling/dragon-kin woman. She has teal skin, tall horns, darker turquoise hair bound in a braid, and a long curling tail. She is dressed in layers of turquoise, teal, green, gold, and red, and she is holding a wooden staff with a gold lantern hanging from the top. The background is an art nouveau-style panel of stylized clouds, flowers, and grass over a pink gradient sky.

A color illustration of my exalted oc Emerald, a changing moon Lunar. She is a middle-aged woman with fair skin, emerald-green eyes, red eyeshadow and dark red lipstick, and long iridescent black hair partly held up by a golden comb. She is dressed in an elegant green gown with puffy sleeves and lots of gold and green jewelry, and a sheer green and gold floaty scarf. The background is a simple crescent moon behind her head over a green gradient.

thought i'd introduce myself here! i'm darren, a designer that rarely does art now. mainly just sketching, but had a period of primarily making vector art on figma. :)
