Four reasons why AI verifiers are harmful for writers: a) they’re built from many of the same resources as LLMs (including plagiarized work). AI verifiers *are* AI. ⬇️⬇️

AI verifiers are no friends to writers. They were built from the same stolen work as every other generative AI model out there… and the damage to authors is REAL. A beefy 🧵👇

Your work your proof.

Human writing tells a story. Your thinking pauses, your late-night revisions, the rhythm of your hands on the keys; the story behind the story. Your writing journey. Emboss by Ellipsus makes that journey visible: the work behind the words. A record of human authorship.

Google claims they don't sell your personal data—and technically that's true: they don't sell raw data. Rather, they sell predictions of your behavior fashioned from your data. From its war on privacy, to data extraction: surveillance capitalism started with Google.
