I'm using the uBlacklist extension on firefox. In addition to subscribing to an AI image blocklist, you can add any sites you want blocked easily as you come across them. My AI image blocking is aggressive and my internet image search experience is much better for it.

#ArtistsCommunity Please, please, please. Don't send a DM/PM asking for a commission to a fellow artist with reasons struggling with bills, sick parent, etc. We all are. I sympathize with anyone who is struggling post-pandemic. But this is not the right way. Best wishes for all on year 2025!🙃🙃🙃

JhekieJ: Go to fiverr, make a ko-fi account, create a free website from cardd or neocities, even wix to legit earn from your creativity IF you are really a digital artist and not relying on AI.

JhekieJ: Don't leech off honest creative people trying to make a living in a post-pandemic world. Just because we're fellow artists, if indeed you are a real artist and not a scammer, doesn't mean that you can take advantage of people who can and may sympathize with your situation. That's just egoistic.

Did something sorta like this. Mother is very particular about aesthetics & has no qualms voicing her opinion if something is ugly/pretty in her eyes. One time she told me about something pretty & I made an offhand quip 'Does it have a ribbon?' A running gag since, along with 'Add a ribbon on it.'

I can attest to this. I was in architecture but I wanted to paint. Very unsure of myself, I gained confidence after rendering a project with watercolours & being friends with some fine arts students, who dragged me to their life drawings. Pretend to be one of them so not to be kicked out, I learned.
