Destroying our public lands for the fossil fuel industry won’t address prices at the pump now. Oil extracted from the oil-and-gas sales of our public lands and waters will take years, if not decades, to bring into production. Solar panels, meanwhile, don’t need to ship through the Strait of Hormuz.
