My wife took this shot from the rear window of our apartment. The sunset flooded the room in gorgeous orange and gold light that made the weight of the outside world melt away from round my shoulders. Sometimes it's nice to be reminded of how small we are, and how pretty the world can be.

The sunset captured over the Southend / westcliff skyline. The retreating sun bathes the town in orange and gold light from behind tower blocks and cranes in the distance as the sky fades into deep blues.
