I’m trying to understand. States rights are good when it comes to banning abortions, but not encouraging public transportation? More importantly, if Trump is permitted to overturn a NY decision on this, why would he stop there? Is access to abortion next?

My “babies” Josie and Emmett enjoying their new bed. The tail wag is cracking me up. Nothing is moving Em from his cozy nest. ❤️ I adopted these two from the shelter more than ten years ago. It’s tough to watch as their muzzles gray and their world slows down. Moments like this are so sweet.

Since my last post was so well received, here are some more photos from magical Sao Miguel, Azores. I was lucky enough to spend ten days in this paradise several years ago. I dream of going back again someday. #SaoMiguel #Azores #Portugal #travel #photography

Did you know that Sao Miguel is home to Europe’s only tea plantations? You can hike the beautiful grounds surrounding Gorreana Tea Factory and then stop in at Cha Gorreana for a tour and of course a cup of tea!

Took a bit of an arduous(my husband still accuses me of trying to kill him) hike* through a small town (I can’t recall which) and to this “secret” beach. We were the only ones there and it was absolute perfection.

*Always good to remember that European hike difficulty seems to vary greatly from American hike difficulty standards

Beautiful coastline in the Nordeste region (my favorite).

We found the most wonderful little VRBO in Nordeste where the cows spent the day grazing in our back yard and then we would watch them as they walked back home through town at the end of the day.
