I have two new working papers on how market participants react to text-based information.
Both fine-tune Llama 3.1 8B (an open LLM trained on data up to 2023) to predict financial variables, and we evaluate the model on data from 2024–2025 to ensure that the analysis is out-of-sample. (1/3)
