I didn't reverse the original Gotek firmware, but i seriously doubt that such feature is available in the stock firmware. For example i asked Gotek System if the stock firmware has an usb stick update feature : No, the stock firmware can't be updated this way.

Have a look to the stream view, this help to understand what is going on. You probably have dumped an 360 rpm written disk with a 300 rpm drive or 300 rpm written disk with an 360 rpm drive. You can tell the HxC software to fix the bitrate before analyzing it. See "FLUXSTREAM_RPMFIX" in the config.

This is possible and this feature come from the SD HxC Floppy Emulators : hxc2001.com/download/flo...

Did you know that from 1991 to 1995, more than 200 demos were featured on national French TV in the show named "Micro Kid's"? Here's an anthology! peertube.fenarinarsa.com/w/24nDZWh5Er... #demoscene

This is the purpose of the libhxcfe : github.com/jfdelnero/Hx... But when you develop something on a small MCU, you can't just support all of these file formats : More than 100 formats supported by the library. This just can't fit into a Gotek / HxC MCU...

IMHO Oric DSK formats should have been abandoned decades ago. IMD is effectively a better alternative. There is a lot more than "15 standards". In fact there are more than 100 formats. Every machine has their file formats... A total pure non sense !

just remove the lines 61<>64 from HxCFloppyEmulator_software/build/Makefile. this is related to pulseaudio, you don't need this.

You can use S900 images (DD) with S950 machines. This is at least the case with the gotek HxC firmware and SD HxC Floppy Emulators...

I fixed this 190 ST from @atarimania.bsky.social ! It's an ST redesigned by IBP for industrial purposes with integrated display, IOs/ADC boards, etc. The machine run RTOS-UH, a real-time operating system. (I added the German TOS to it, too 😉)
