Everyone always hates seagulls but check out how perfect and floofy and head-empty these Common Gulls are 🪶

Another common gull but this time sitting on top of a guard tower. Feathers ruffled by strong winds, and yet it sits. Calm. Unbothered. Maybe sleepy.

Finally had a chance to go out and look at some birds again. This one nearly tried to hop into my lap! 🪶

A tiny little European Robin perched on a rock about 6" from my leg. It's head is cocked slightly to the side like its curious what I'm up to.

Didn't get to do as much hiking this weekend as hoped due to smoke, but still got out there a little bit

For what it's worth they make switches that look like that that are actually momentary, however they are generally three-state toggles that return to center like this one

Aurora viewing in Seattle turned out to be pretty good last night

A pier full of people watching the Aurora. Some of the people are blurry because of motion but a lot of them are sharp because the exposure didn't need to be very long to capture the Aurora

Final route and mileage (+2.5 to get from Northgate light rail to the first stop, +6ish to initially get to light rail) so far. Still gotta get back home though, so gonna be a bit more.
