Agree with your assessment re: male-made religious rules. However, IMHO it's important to acknowledge the critical notion of one god — omnipotent, all knowing & always male — is used to maintain at all costs their control. Judaism. Christianity. Islam. All monotheistic, misogynistic & oppressive.
