So, Chinese Overwatch got an exclusive event today called Loverwatch (which from what I understand is a revamp of the mini dating game overwatch did a few years back, as part of Overwatches relaunch in China. 6) More lizards and now birds. The desert enclosure was really cool, it was an indoor enclosure so they could do temp controls and that meant having some smaller free roam birds around. Also the bright orange lizard friend? One of my fav photos from today.

4)Snakes and the sand cats. :) We almost missed the first sand cat sleepy high up but om glad we didn't cause he's so cute. And the first snake is actually 2 snakes resting ontop of each other. 🥺 Reptile exhibits are some of my favorite bc it's like a where's Waldo scene.

3) The gorillas :) Big fella was right by the glass and giving us such a good side profile just chiling out. And then there was the goober like 5 feet from him on his back like that. 3rd one out in the distance we think is the oldest gorilla currently at the zoo.

2) The lion and the baboons. The lion is actually sharing the space with a lioness who he's slowly being introduced to, so she wasn't out while he had his enclosure time. We didn't expect so many baboons. And the little baby. 🥺 No joke he sat down in the grass and I almost cried.

All from the NC Zoo. Starting off: a rhino and multiple giraffes. The pair together were really sweet and nuzzled each other, and the one by the feed bag did not leave the feed bag the entire time we were by him. I think we interrupted his lunch break.
