Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 06/06/2025

ugh I dont need to do it THAT badly lmao, even if it is easy haha. An alt just for being secret is a good idea tho. i'll keep that in mind if i ever DO need to send an ask that badly haha

110

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 06/06/2025

desperately want to send a stranger a tumblr ask but they don't have anon turned on and I don't need them to know how insane I am even tho they are clearly the same kind of insane 😭

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

one of my recently posted fics received its second kudos after like two weeks of being up and i literally threw my fist in the air victoriously like i'm a jock in an 80s movie that just got the hot girl to go out with me

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

no one is reading this nonsense but the ones that do are lovin it 😈

110

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

great thing about posting fics that get barely any hits is that "only 5 kudos 😔" turns into "fuck yeah, 25% of the readers gave it kudos 😈"

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

happened again. i understand these men on a preternatural level

If the two of you somehow end up in a room together I’ll be sure to introduce you lol

Texted my mom that the car’s engine wouldn’t start and she responded with a “👻” MOM PLEASE 🤣😭 (Disclaimer that I’m fine lmao)

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 25/05/2025

realizing that i wrote a line into a fic that somehow referenced something about a character that i hadn't even been aware of yet at the time. i was just saying that shit. incredible. my power is unknowable.

love getting a comment thats like "wow! I'd never considered reading this pairing before!" like i know 😭 because i wrote 2 out of the only 3 fics they have, how could you have possibly even come across it before? I have an agenda here.

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

At least one person does. Shouts out to Fox, LMAO I will keep writing about those bros broconning even if I only get one view, as long as that view is Fox 😂

010

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

Oh i think I know what I’m doing wrong on the one that’s still at single digit views. (Pointing over my shoulder and speaking outta the side of my mouth) fellas, I don’t think these guys over here care for brocon 😂

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

My eyes bug out like a cartoon wolf that just saw a hot lady for a single kudos

010

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

Like, I’m having a great time anyways! I like what I’m writing! And I hope the (checks stats page) 9 people that saw it liked it too! Haha

020

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

That said, if I posted a one piece fic, checked the stats a couple days later, and saw the numbers I’m lookin at rn, I’d assume the archive must have been down lmao 😂 one piece fandom is fucking different

040

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

This ain’t a cry for sympathy or anything. I’m not a numbers obsessed guy anyways and knew there would be a difference. I post whatever I have written whether I think it has an audience or not because the target audience is me and sometimes one freak friend of mine, and I hit that so what do I care.

140

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

Very humbling to go to another fandom and have multiple fics combined do worse than even your worst performing one piece fic in the numbers department.

Haha, at least that makes sense. I’m out here standing in line dressed in all black with a pro wrestling T-shirt on while two employees were standing 5 feet away, visibly in uniform, and this guy still came up to me 😂

-vertical stripes, the same on the panel on the opposite side of the torso. i legitimately own and regularly wear a shirt like this its just plaid instead of solid stripes. as for the cap, only two..... sleeves? whatever you want to call them. fairly short, would evoke a bit of a devil horn vibe

010

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

excellent question. perhaps blasphemous to admit, but id honestly likely look more like pierrot than a stereotypical jester. nearly my entire wardrobe irl is black and white. i appreciate a good vertical stripe and some mismatched patterns tho, could do with my billowy shirt having one sleeve with-

well I started this thread about an hour and a half ago and my word count has gone up by 202. So, shockingly, yes. I'm about to go acquire some dinner, but the writing will (hopefully) continue after this brief interlude 🙏

-something you've seen in fandom from how youre talking about it) is just pointless. all of those people better also be pointing pitchforks at their dads for wearing a darth vader t-shirt then, if the morality of consuming fiction with villains like that in it is really that black and white.

010

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

-fact makes it easier to assume/project intent that may or may not be there. maybe it is! or maybe he just grew up watching sentai and made some nostalgic ocs! im not oda! idk! all of this to say that analyzing and talking about this stuff is good and cool but weaponizing it (which seems to me like-

110

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

yeah. the likely answer is probably some unknowable mix of all of the above. certain people in western fandom i think like to forget that we are inherently not viewing media within the same framework as the one hes creating it with. which isnt a good or bad thing, its just a fact, but ignoring that-

130

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

*surprised 🙄 tho i guess i wont be supersized about it either

020

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

there's a good amount of it that's just him mimicking sentai villains. im not trying to say the man didn't do ANY of it on purpose, but considering how much everything about the vinsmokes is dripping in sentai aesthetics, i wouldnt be supersized if he just kinda stumbled into some of that symbolism

320

Jester 😵‍💫 @jesterboystrick.bsky.social · 03/05/2025

something that's not going to be publicly posted on main unfortunately, so i don't want to say exactly, but i dont mind being vague about it. probably not something anyone here would be interested in anyways tho, so dont feel too deprived, haha 🤐
