I had the pleasure of teaching college students through Golden Apple last week! We spent our time analyzing stereotypes in education and Dr. Bishop's work with Windows, Mirrors, and Sliding Doors. We had fun with stickers, children's books, new knowledge, and discussion.

Today is my bonus birthday. I woke up 21 years ago on this date with a blood clot traveling in my left leg. It eventually got stuck in my knee.. I should have died of DVT that day, but God’s grace allowed me more time ❤️

Teaching: The profession that you take a day off to grade research papers because you can't get anything done at school because seniors are still too needy to function on their own (despite them only having 11 school days left in their career).

Research papers are due tomorrow. One class asked me 38 questions. Ss knew the answer to most of those questions because the info was covered. Senior panic is severe this year. They aren’t ready—they never will be—but they are entering a scary world. 20 days to go. Gotta keep moving.

Does anyone else obsessively clean the day before ending spring break? I think I do it because: 1. I have to keep my mind busy. 2. It helps with my anxiety about things to come at the end of the year. 3. I falsely believe walking into a clean house after the first day back will calm my soul.
