remembering my friend Mark who died in 2023. Fantastic human so smart/generous. Both type 1 diabetics. First trans dude I knew. Pretty sure his blood sugar dropped causing this car accident. It’s the only thing that makes sense. He’d just switched system week prior. Miss you my friend such a loss.

type 1 diabetics high rate of depression, anxiety, sleep disturbance/insomina too as the alarms/buzzing goes 24/7. better than it used to be. newer predictive ML micro-doses bolus insulin to keep things in range best it can. believe there is a particular kind of diabetic depression from tight-rope
