So, did you tell your folks about Good Trouble, or no?

They also still didn’t answer whether they informed their followers about Good Trouble Lives On…

No Kings is grassroots, but that doesn’t mean you can just randomly claim to be part of the Coalition. And unless the money you are fundraising is going to No Kings (it’s not, or Leah wouldn’t be mocking your spam texts), then you are fundraising off pretending to be No Kings.

You are not No Kings. You are fundraising as if you are No Kings. See the problem? You say your followers didn’t know about Good Trouble Lives On. Did you inform them of it?

This is a good time to join the WFP @workingfamilies.org I'm a broken record and if they ain't going to learn they need to learn by us not cooperating with their party anymore and building a political force that is so big that can hold different tenants but still have values.

I made a thing! I was playing around with the AT protocol and as a little experiment I made a website that visualises activity around Bluesky: nightsky.hctr.dev It listens to all new posts and shows them as little stars across a night sky 🌃 Every star is someone, somewhere, posting something
nightsky.hctr.dev
Nightsky | hctr.dev
See live conversations from all over Bluesky as a dynamic night sky

Here’s the good news: The Working Families Party builds power from the bottom up. And this election cycle, we turned out and elected local, state, and federal candidates who will fight to make life better for regular working people. Here's a snapshot.

Can we build a crowd-sourced directory of groups doing GOOD, impactful grassroots organizing work on the ground in the US? I'd love to have something to send people about where to plug in. Does this exist already?

When you realize the only choice you have is to fight, because who you are and what you love will not let you give up or capitulate, that clarity of purpose will melt the fear away.

I am reminding myself daily that one of the pieces of work in front of us is to continue to make hope possible. To continue to make momentum possible. We do not obey in advance. We do not give in to despair, to hopelessness, to fear. (Feel them, sure. Give in, no.) We do not give up.

So you want an action item, something you can do? Put your masks back on. Some of us never stopped, because Covid never ended, and we’d welcome you back.
