I kicked ass today! Just today, I - Redesigned flashcards into Somali - Created 2 social media campaigns - Created a flier - Updated business cards - Outlined my meeting updates for tomorrow - Visited my sunflower and received my first seed - Made a tomato sauce from scratch for a turkey bolognese

What a treat and challenge to #hike #DogMountain yesterday! The weather was just starting to shift the colors with a light breeze and delicious sunshine. The #PNW is just the best 🥰 I can be broke as a joke and still enjoy this #naturebath!

The beautiful #fullmoon was POPPIN last night 😍🥰 Taken from my front yard as my partner and I enjoyed a clean front patio in the moonlight.

Over the last month, these sunflowers have become amorphously seed focused. I can't wait to try homegrown sunflower seeds like this! Hopefully, we can keep some going beyond today's crazy wind storm...

This Birch tree has lived out front of my home far longer than I've been here, but the slow deterioration seems leading to a goodbye. It feels a bit silly to mourn a tree. But here I am, sad for the birds who will need to find different branches to sing from soon. For every season, turn turn turn.

Amazing how old that movie is and how big the disparity between women and men remains in the corporate world to this day 🤦🏽‍♀️

What in the idiot fueled race to the bottom is this!?! 🤬

Violet Syren @jesstbe.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

It's a step in a good direction, but oh is it just a part of the puzzle 😵‍💫 I'm excited for the increased access to solarpunk possibilities this policy highlights.. But the capitalist drive beneath this shift erodes the human aspect of the baseline respect required for a genuine solarpunk world.

The Earth will be ok eventually. It's the humans who are making it unlivable for ourselves.

He drives me absolutely crazy!!! His choice of questions feel incredibly shallow for such a conversation. I felt the same way with Jane Goodall's episode.

I saw a couple doing a lil dance today as they flew around my front yard today! Big day for them I guess? Something in the water?

I have a new #squirrel friend who has taken to hanging out for long periods just outside my office window 🥰 It helps to have a walnut tree and no pesticides for this sort of connection 💜

WA State DOUBLED the price of nicotine products overnight a few months ago. That alone forced a ton of Washingtonians to choose between legit essentials or nicotine. If it's about the same cost to smoke a cleaner, medically supportive product that eases anxiety, well that's easy math in this hell.

The most beautiful gift of earth's potential is the ability to #regenerate in surprising and beautiful ways. Start small. It matters.

Violet Syren @jesstbe.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Yeah... Still doing it because the hell they're serving will burn regardless of whatever my weird ass does. But I'll be ready to build while they're reeling in surprise over their unsustainable system keeling over. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Diversity wins regardless of their lies

The proliferation of technology over humanity's needs is staggering... Here's a thought - Will any states or countries outright ban AI or have AI-free zones?

Just saw #Hadestown in theaters & I'm still singing..! Finally being able to adore Andres De Shields in his craft as fully as I can afford melted my heart 🥹 And now I have dreams of playing #Persephone (although I'd be ecstatic to play one of #TheFates 😍) #manifestingart #theatreonfilm
