“making your own” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this article about how SaaS sucks so you should use a SaaS platform to GenAI a replacement you take credit for
From the Platformer newsletter:

“The case for making your own apps”
Glaze's Thomas Paul Mann on disposable software, the Saas apocalypse, and why half the software you use in a few years will be something you made. (…)

It’s *the* most read article today!
“Top read on English Wikipedia” has “Google Chrome” as number 1, outranking even the current news cycle’s favorite person Jeffrey Epstein (at number 4)

How come “Google Chrome” is always one of the 5 “top read” articles on English Wikipedia; it’s been like this for months, only very briefly defeated by big events; surely the people do not continuously yearn for that much Google Chrome information…?

I got these convenience store noodles but felt that I didn’t need to buy a bag just for this one item so now I’m carrying it home like this…

It does correctly get saved in the protocol data too, this looked like it was strictly a bsky.app UI limitation...... But then I noticed that, if you click "Other", it allows you to pick multiple!

New personal best on treadmill! The gym’s treadmill refuses to run for longer than 60min+cooldown, though, I tried to trick it today by entering a 10km distance program but it cut me off at 60min elapsed…

iOS’s “splits” UI in the Workouts app is so funny(?), it shows both the duration of the split (in minutes)… and the average pace, also in minutes, so it’s 2 columns showing the same thing… they could at least use km/h, or switch it with cadence, or something other than the exact same value 😓
Screenshot of the Apple Workouts app. The relevant “Splits” section has multiple rows with “Time: 11:07; Pace: 11’07””
