Republicans rammed HB 1106 through the Texas House this morning. I shared the stories of real LGBTQ-identifying children, victims of real abuse at the hands of their parents. Descriptions of the horrors inflicted upon them by their caretakers wasn’t enough to persuade them. My heart aches for them.
