Gas near me was at or above $4 (and never as high as $5) for about four months mid-2022 due to price shocks from demand returning after the worst of the COVID pandemic. Gas near me has been at or above $4 for FIVE months now due purely to Trump's stupid (and illegal) war, with no end in sight.

Hassett is either stupid or he's lying, but probably both. Exhibit A: medical office building (bottom right) with far more cars than the fully-functional Equinix data center (top left) in Ashburn, VA (Data Center Alley). These places do NOT have a lot of employees.
