Re: politics affecting us more... Ironically, at the core of religion itself is the belief that eternity is at stake. That's not my point though. Angrily pushing one's political beliefs on others, is never going to win anybody over, IMHO 😢

I'm starting a podcast! 🎙️ I'm hoping for a handful of sponsors to help get it off the ground. I think this will be a fun exploration of Statamic, talking with creators, agencies, and clients who use Statamic every day. Please dm if you think you might like to sponsor. talkingstatamic.com

Yessir! This hobby quite quickly turns into an endless hole of scratching an itch ... Stay away! 🤣

It's probably overkill designing yet another keyboard 🤣, but I've always wanted to learn PCB design with KiCad. It'll be good learning, at the very least.

Thanks! For context, I'm coming from a nijuni as my daily driver, which is just a corne variant with slightly more pinky stagger. It's almost perfect for my hands, but I've been itching to try a wee bit more pinky stagger/splay without going too aggressive.

Dr. Elvim Ransom 👽 @jesseleite.com · 05/02/2025

I'm also messing with my own design (not really, honestly everyone's designs are just iterations of another if we're honest)... As far as stagger goes, I'm thinking something between a corne and a kyria, but with some subtle splay in the outer columns:

I would need to spend more time with it, but the stagger is really aggressive compared to what I'm used to. Pinky column is very low, and middle finger column is very high. Might be too much for me, but we'll see!

No tease here! What do you want to know? This is just a prototype plate of a geigeigeist/totem keyboard. I'm trying to feel out if I would like this aggressive of column stagger before I solder a complete build 😅

Dr. Elvim Ransom 👽 @jesseleite.com · 05/02/2025

How much column stagger is too much column stagger? 😅

Absolutely loving these KTT Baby Blues lately. Quite thocky sounding, even on a non-thocky board like a Corne! 🫠

I second this! Telescope for navigation, oil for file operations 🤌 I've even used oil to fix filename casing, etc. across a whole directory, like a batch file renamer, but it's just basic neovim [chef's kiss emoji 👨‍🍳🤌💋] www.youtube.com/watch?v=-r1m...

I think you're taking Lewis out of context. Maybe you meant to refer to Dante's works?

Indeed. I somehow gained 1.1k followers in my first month, and looking at many of them, plenty are bots. With all the complaints about twitter bots in the past, I am honestly quite surprised how many bots are over here already.
