The nerdy fun part of having to submit info for a bike theft insurance claim is seeing how much or little the items on the bike have gone up in price since 2022. The highest increase is the Rad large bike basket (50 percent increase) and the lowest is the light (0 percent)

I worked at a gas station in 2006 while in highschool. People then were panicking about the cost of gas and the station had a lot of drive-off gas theft. I thought it would lead to change then and that trucks wouldn't be so popular in the future/hybrid cars would be everywhere. I was mostly wrong

This is interesting-- when at my last job and encouraged to use ai, not taking was my preferred use of the tech. I would record the transcript in Word and then upload a lightly edited (company shorthand, names) version to Claude. Claude then did extrapolate the main talking points and tasks

Yesterday was my partner and my anniversary (5 years!). To celebrate we went on a bike ride, came home to shower, then walked to a local restaurant for dinner. This is really the best version of life for us.
