I pose it open-ended and let them accept or change it. If they reject the whole thing and want something totally different, I allow that, too. I'm trying to give the reins away in that moment anyway, so if they realize they want them, all the better.

For me, I usually take the first step and then let them take the next if they want. An example: I had a PC who made a generic gunslinger. When they needed to talk to the sheriff, I said, "You, having done mercenary work, would have probably worked with the local guards and have good rapport?"

It's one of those things only local fans would've predicted because they watch all the games. Demeco's teams have consistently been taking games to the wire. Leaving it up to last minute FGs. The running game has never been great. The secondary would let up at least 1 busted TD per game. Etc.

So I checked on Amazon. It's the "same" cover, but someone ran it through an AI filter. The ebook is exclusive to Kindle so looking for it at other places gives these scammers.
