Thrilled to have joined the AVATAR-RW study! 🎉 We’re exploring how AVATAR therapy can be implemented into routine NHS care, helping people who hear distressing voices. Looking forward to collaborating with researchers, clinicians and lived experience experts to support this important research.

🚨New study🚨 Which older crime victims are most at risk of ongoing distress? In our longitudinal study, 40% screened positive for distress after a crime, with half still distressed 3 months later. Feeling unsafe & prior mental health diagnoses were the strongest predictors. 📖 tinyurl.com/mrjdh4up

Hi bsky👋 sorry I'm late! Kicking off with a new paper on early work to develop a person reported tool on behaviour change after a crime. Findings with older victims suggest it captures safety-seeking linked to distress (esp avoidance) & has potential as a clinical/research tool tinyurl.com/yuyfkfb
