I don't think he takes Vaughn out of the game that early -I also think the idea that Vaughn can't hit RHP is a bit overdone. Certainly the splits favor him vs. LHP but 15 of 20 HRs over the last 2 seasons have come against RHP.I'd have no problem giving him a chance against RHP in a big situation.
