Anyone else constantly getting distracted online by XYZ, but also don't want to be tracked by a website blocker? Here's a homemade chrome extension by Sharon Zheng that will be ready in less than 15 mins: github.com/skinsshark/s... It needed a small update and I changed some visuals (see comments).

Today I started out the morning talking about long-read sequencing and prediction models and ended the day by showing Masters students how to take eDNA samples from a river. How cool is my job!? 🤓 Honestly if I told three-years-ago me what I do for a living he wouldn't have believed it 😃

I *finally* work in ecology!! 😀🙌 Today is my 1st day as a postdoc in Eva Sigsgaard's group in the department of biology at Aarhus University. I'll be looking at biodiversity, environmental DNA (eDNA) & unsequenced species ("dark taxa"). SO freaking excited! 🥳 And not a bad office view either

Finally on my way to World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics (WCPG) 2023 🧬 in Montreal 🍁 Can't wait to catch up with old pals and of course to give my talk (Wed. 11/10 15:55, Room 513AB) on differences in DNA methylation associated with living in multiple deprivation (low socioeconomic status).
