So, Bluesky, you ran off Jim Wright / Stonekettle Station for speaking the truth? And I thought you were going to be different ...

And have successfully run off Jim Wright as of today. He wrote how he had to deactivate his Bluesky account and why.

Actually, Christie Todd Whitman was NJ governor, what, 30 years ago? But Sherill is the first female Democratic governor.

Holy smokes! I watched an old "Night Gallery" episode last night and saw a very young MH as a messenger boy! Well, everybody had to start someplace. It was fun to catch an early glimpse!

Did this today. Logged into the site and got an email notification that my account was logging in from Allison, PA which is nowhere near N J. I did get my statement but had to wonder why login.gov thought I was in PA. OK

Cory Booker. Told you so. When he refused to support Bernie Sander's idea to allow people to order lower cost meds from Canada, because "how do we know those drugs are made the same?" I called and left a request for a call-back. I'm still waiting. I knew this guy was a fake from the git-go.

Yes, disrespectful but he is leaning on a cane with his right hand and holding a Bible with his left. Not sure of his disability requiring the cane but he didn't seem to know how to put the Bible down and switch hands so he just flubbed it.

Holidays were a time when fights escalated, screaming was louder and more frequent, and you were expected to toe the line "or else." I live in the house I grew up in where all that took place. Every year, I work to make my own ways of celebrating. Slowly, healing happens but it is a long process!

I was laid off at the beginning of Covid. No one wants to hire a 60+ IT person, so I managed to stick it out to 66 and 1/2 (who came up with that age?) to start collecting SS. I drew heavily on my retirement accounts and sold off personal possessions, but I made it. Never would have made it to 70!
