And thus, the Hollow Knight speedrunning is done! I'm quite happy with this. I made quite a few mistakes, but still had plenty of time to spare. I guess next up is ... Godhome. I am afeared. Very afeared.

I unlocked the achievement, "Speed Completion" in Hollow Knight. "Achieve 100% game completion and finish the game in under 20 hours"

I don't think I've shared much poetry here yet, but I felt like writing a bit last night. Life can be challenging at times, but even so I find myself smiling far more often lately. The future may be unclear, but I'm gonna do my damnest to work towards something better.

This is a screenshot of a poem I wrote! The lines read as follows:

Unsteady, head heavy, I sway on my feet
Battered and burdened by sweltering heat
Dry dust, barren pathways, too many thorns
But despite all this hardship, a smile adorns

Uncertainty can buffet, anxiety storm
But I've got lots to live for, just need to transform
A tiny caterpillar has to struggle in order to show
The world the wings it has hidden below

I am afraid? Most certainly so
But fear is natural, an ingredient to grow
So I'll soak up the sun, the wind and the rain
And use their nourishment to conquer the pain

This is just a message, a expression of thought
That even if beaten, I want to have fought

I suffered greatly for this, but it is done... !! I swear this mini-game felt like trying to guide a severely drunk person up a flight of stairs while bystanders threw food at you. The damned chocobo controlled like a tank, and even that feels like an understatement xD #FFX #FinalFantasy

Okay, so - first goal? Speedrun. I think I'm experienced enough that I can get the speedrun achievements. 100% is going to boggle my memory a bit, but I think it's doable! Maybe needs some practice? Steel Soul and Heart, though, should be ... interesting...

I had so much fun working on this and I learnt a bunch too! I'm relatively new to pixel art, but Aseprite is fantastic and I'm looking forward to doing more! #aseprite #pixelart ... it's just a pity I learnt of perfect lines *after* I finished, but eh! Next time, huh?
