As Chanukah draws to a close, this year's festival will rightly be remembered for the tragic terror attack on Bondi Beach. However, in the Borough of Hertsmere our response to the darkness was to increase the light. We held more public Chanukah lightings than ever before… #LightUpHertsmere

Earlier this week, together with councillor colleagues from all parties, I attended the Yom HaShoah Holocaust Memorial Commemoration at Bushey United Synagogue. It was incredibly powerful and emotive to hear testimony from 93 year old Holocaust survivor Janine Webber BEM.

Lovely to have been able to join our valued friends and partners at Borehamwood Mosque and a real privilege to address the community at Jummah prayers today.

Inspiring to join these talented Elstree Screen Arts Academy students at Elstree Studios today. They're working on a special project for the centenary celebrations of the iconic, council owned studios. The Academy is central to the skills & training agenda that is so vital to the screen arts sector

nspiring words from Health Secretary Wes Streeting at Labour East Conference dinner. He’s dead right that it’s time to take the political arguments directly to the populists of Reform UK. Great to catch up with friends & colleagues. Southend is glorious in the winter sun.
