Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 09/09/2026I am at Devopsdays Portland today... are you? Let's meet up! 010
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 17/08/2026This weekend I got my sim racing dashboard project into testing. It's a touchscreen with a Raspberry Pi mounted on the back. Telemetry streams in from iRacing, and the Pi interprets it and puts the info that matters up on the screen. More coming soon. Gotta love just for fun side projects! 000
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 11/08/2026Building a project and I dug out some old touchscreen for a Raspberry Pi. Hey! this will work! I decided to Google it and figure out how to hook it up and it turns out some nerd wrote the instructions for one in 2015. Good stuff! 000
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 25/06/2026If you're on iRacing, and love respectful racing and developing racecraft, you should join my Formula league. No membership/entry fees and no iRating requirements. Just join and have fun. #iRacing discord.gg/6d76y4GEN9 110
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 20/06/2026I suspect generative AI hasn't changed this all that much 010
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 19/06/2026Those of you who were on the internet in the late 90s to early 2000s, what is a website you still think about? 110
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 15/06/2026I am thrilled to announce I'll be speaking again at Commit Your Code!! This is by far my favorite conference. You should absolutely consider attending this. Come hang out with me and hundreds of other developers for an unforgettable experience. www.commityourcode.com 000
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 08/06/2026I’m in London this week meeting the team at Neo4j where I’m starting as Technical Cirriculum Developer. Really cool group, a great product, and lots of challenges ahead. Totally stoked about it. Let’s gooo! 000
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 20/04/2026This is an awesome tool. You can even run it local on your machine in just a few steps. Drop in a GitHub URL and it will visualize the application for you. Check it out here --> github.com/braedonsaund... This is a visualization of my ham radio test practice app. 020
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 19/04/2026I don't know when "Tell me a funny joke about Python" became my first test of a new model, but it's been working for years. Trying out Qwen 3.6. Subsequent tests will be more thorough 010
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 13/04/2026I am blessed. I have a fast machine with an RTX4090 and a bunch of RAM. During the day it runs Linux and I use it to work mostly thru SSH. I've build so much with it. I reboot it into Windows and it becomes a incredible gaming machine for competitive sim racing! Poor thing never gets a break. 000
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 13/04/2026Super happy with my latest Linux Foundation @linuxfoundation.org certification. I would definitely recommend it, it covers some important topics. AMA 020
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 10/04/2026If you're building stuff with Langchain, you need Langsmith tools. Even if you use it for nothing else, monitoring costs in near realtime is worth the few minutes to set it up. 010
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 18/10/2025Tech people need non tech hobbies. Or at least hobbies that have nothing to do with their career. If on the off chance you're on #iRacing and you like Dirt or Formula racing join our leagues. We have 99 members as of tonight and are a fun group to race with! discord.gg/VSPAFjd7Ea Join us! 020
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 30/04/2025What does "vibe coding" mean to you? When you hear the term, what do you think? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? 000
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 21/04/2025I'm trying out Claude Code tonight to see if it can help me debug the fun web socket issues with my game. So far it's making some progress but I've just about maxed out the context already. I definitely want to try a greenfield project with it. #claudecode 000
Jeremy Morgan @jeremymorgan.com · 19/04/2025Me booting back into Linux after having to use Windows for an hour 010
