Yesterday during the campus walkouts I met a student wearing a Dark Side of the Moon hat. We had a brief discussion about Pink Floyd and our favorite tracks. It felt so good to talk about something positive, albeit brief. It’s great to see young people find joy in older music.

My estimate is likely way off….But I’m guessing 7,000+ people are now surrounding and marching around the Capitol building. They are marching on Lincoln and Broadway. Police seem to be visible, but mostly on the periphery of this rally/protest.

Reporting on this today. The DEA shared video last week of a suspected TdA gang member getting arrested in Aurora. A criminal case against him was recently closed and he walked out of jail. There was no immigration hold. www.9news.com/article/news...

Denver Police are monitoring a continuing conflict over swastikas someone has been displaying on their windows. The first one was recently shattered by someone who threw something at the window. Now two more are on display. The Colorado ADL chapter tells me it’s been receiving complaints. 1/

I’ve been inspired to work on a retablo. I’ve never created one but have always wanted to work on a vision. Last year I bought a plank of pine, cut it down and sporadically worked on it. Life gets so busy, I realized to create comes with discipline & intention. I just need to varnish and then hang.

The show American Primeval is intense. I’m sure it exceedingly departs from actual history, but beyond its brutality and bloody violence is a well crafted story with gorgeous cinematography of the landscapes. It’s worth your time if you like westerns. But be warned. It’s quite violent.

NEW: A suspect in the four random stabbings in downtown Denver is identified as Elijah Caudill, age 24. Two of the stabbings are fatal. Looking at his record, we can see multiple arrests, including assault and menacing. In one of the prior criminal cases, he's accused of menacing with a knife. 1/

Just saw a MASSIVE amount of crows flying over downtown Denver for what appears to be a winter roost. Amazing numbers. Never ending flock of them. I love seeing it. 🐦‍⬛ I’ve always been intrigued by their intelligence and social aspects. Nature is ever present, even in the city.

Observation and thoughts: I'm surprised with how many details, videos and images authorities in Las Vegas are releasing in the wake of the Cybertruck explosion investigation. I'm pretty sure if this happened in Colorado, it would take months, and months, and months for local police to release.
