First nice shots of 2026. 😃 A Grey Heron and its breakfast on a frosty and misty morning. JPEGs straight off the camera. #greyheron #birds #amateurphotography #fujifilm

Just a Pond Skater on the Grand Canal. I liked the mix of blue and green and the circle of ripples it left when it moved. #pondskaters #insects #grandcanal #fujifilm #amateurphotography

Blue water with a hint of green in the lower right, with a Pond Skater on the water surrounded by ripples due to it's movement on the water.

Some Grey Heron spend time along the Grand Canal, I do try get some nice shots on my morning walks. I swear they see me raise my camera from a mile away and just nope right out of there. 😆 Anyway, for some reason I like this shot of it flying away. #amateurphotography #birds #greyheron #fujifilm

Some shots from Kilkenny Castle. Really nice place to check out. I really like to first shot of the underside of the stairs, the colours and lighting mess with your eyes a bit. 🙃 #amateurphotography #fujifilm #kilkenny

The underside of stairs painted in white, with red walls. Feels hard to tell which way is up.

An ornate wooden ceiling with glass in the centre, over a long hall with red walls and many paintings.

Red walls with a series of white framed stone windows overlooking an older hanging light fixture.

Looking up through a set of stairs at a crest inlaid in a ceiling above.

Two doors. One taken near the Grand Canal in Kildare. The other in The Cliff at Lyons. #amateurphotography #fujifilm #doors #grandcanal

A metal chat sitting in front of a green door and the door is surrounded by ivy.

A cobble-lock path surrounded by low hedging. At the end a vintage wooden door, with a rounded top, with ornate hinges, set in a stone door frame in a stone building partially covered with a crawler plant.

I took this photo originally in October last, of a grey heron with its dinner. The first, I did some post-processing in Lightroom, the second, is from the Fujifilm X-T50 SOC. I'm not sure if I overdid the colours on the first... #greyheron #heron #fujifilm #lightroom

Doorway to summer (Sorry, I’ll see myself out 😅) #amateurphotography #fujifilm #summer

An open door looking out on a bright summer morning. With a stone walkway leading to white tables and chairs shaded under a tree with bright pink petals, surrounded by greenery.

I took this photo yesterday evening, this is from the Fujifilm X-T50, using Reala Ace. (and whatever Bluesky does to your upload) Lens: XF 70-300mm 300mm | f7.1 | 1/400 | 800 Photographers, for a learner like myself, what would you have done? #fujifilm #photography #amateurphotography
