Something struck me as funny the other day and I let out a booming laugh which sounded remarkably like my late father's. It was a bittersweet reminder of him. The man loved to laugh and I like to think he shaped my sense of humor and outlook on life. I miss him every day but today just a shade more.

Diving into Cheers after years of not watching an episode. I had forgotten how well done this show was. Ted Danson and Shelley Long's chemistry is fantastic right from the beginning. Carla's instant dislike of Diane is hilarious. I'm looking forward to hanging out with these folks again.

This was a recent pickup which triggered old memories. This was among the stack of comics at a friend's house when I was a kid. That pile started me on comics. It's quite possible I read this one first as I had a Shogun Warriors figure that I loved.

I've had my phone # for about 17 years. When I first got it I was inundated with debt collectors looking for Mike and people telling me the warranty on his Chevy Malibu was expiring. I even got texts from his friends. I just mentioned this to a friend the other day and, bam, there they are again.

Mike's got a closure flag, whatever that is.

I figured this is spooky enough. Captain America 113. Steranko goodness with sad Bucky about to die. Rick Jones has had a wild ride but I was still shocked to see him in a symbiote suit in a recent Venom book.
