Im trying to not always be as precious with my #100headschallenge just to get a few more out. Did this trying to follow a Loomis technique drawing example on here. It looks nothing like the actress that the artist used in the example. Like how it came out though. Turned out to be #17

This took a loooot of work. Its still not a 1 to 1 with the reference but thanks to advice from some really talented artists I got it looking Linda Hamiltony enough for me ##lindahamilton #terminator #100headschallenge #16

Here's the Thing ... I drew this Ben Grimm years ago. Thought I'd spruce him up a little with the water colouring pencils. It was dicey, he looked like a poo man for a minute trying to get the right mix for his rock skin. Happy with him now. I drew him without reference. Might fill out the team.

Resident Evil 2 fun with water colour pencils. I tried water colour pencils years ago but this was the first time with my new fancy set & after ive had a little experience with actual painting. I could do with getting a smaller brush but this was really fun. Cont'd #residentevil2 #colouringpencils

I went for this wonderful Declan Shalvey comission I found online to use as reference. I was super lucky to get a headshot of Banshee drawn by him at Dublin comic con years ago. I'll post it when I find it. Irish character, Irish artist just feels right

Banshee's coming along. I hadnt been to my painting class in weeks and i potentially only have 2 to go to before it breaks for the summer. Im not super confident ill finish him in class but maybe. His cape is laid on quite thick so the teacher Tina suggested I sand it down a little to get the cont'd

I just noticed we have a few Chinese flowering crabapple trees behind our house in our estate. Not a true cherry blossom but very close. I will sit out under them on the next nice day

I was talking to my friend about how we have no Cherry Blossoms in our home town only to realise it was before their blooming tine and we actually have quite a few. I came across this iconic one today 😀

It took me an age to find this photo. I remember it as being a flipped bird in the clouds but it's in the cloud shadows that i see it. It still coumts I think 🤣

Doing my last member of the Irish hip hop group Kneecap. I might need to rub out x amount if this as i feel i captured the other two lads likenesses better

My Dad has a few actors he brings up from time to time, Robert Shaw got a bump in conversation because my Dad copped it was him playing a Russian spy in From Russia with Love. He was a good spot as he has very short bleach blonde hair in it, very far removed from his look in Jaws cont'd

Feckin delighted with how the green highlights came up on #Banshee 's suit. Just before I started, after 1/2 an hour of using the wrong blue to try & recreate the green I used the week b4 I felt it was make or break. I was so happy when I took a step back to see what it looked like. Cont'd ↕️

This was a random #youtube #video thumbnail on my feed. No idea what it was for but I just thought it looked daft and would be fun to draw #brianrot #draw #drawing #pencil I've tagged all my drawings as #charcoal but they were actually done with #graphite #doodle #sketchbook #icon #egypt #pyramids

Been doing a painting class the last 3 weeks. I havent attempted a painting since primary school. I've very little experience with any type of colouring. Copying this drawing of Banshee by the always awesome Declan Shalvey I found online so i can take it handy on my first attempt. #art #xmen #paint

Brooklyn, New York. It was a lifelong dream of mine to visit New York and I finally went in the last few years. Three times! I've taken lots of pictures with the hopes of drawing them but this is actually just a google maps street view. Will definitely use that as a reference again.
