Been a while since I posted a picture of him, so here’s Freddie standing proudly in his garden.

Back home after seeing a 40th Anniversary screening of The Transformers: The Movie. (Sans the incredibly sh*t sound / audio mix in my cinema) I had a great time. I knew this was going to hit me hard in places following Peter Cullen’s passing, but blimey did it hit harder than I anticipated.

There are few experiences like being in a pub where 95% of folks are vociferously hate-watching your team. A penalty is awarded against you, the 95% goes wild. Penalty is saved. Now only your cheers are heard! A minute later you score a wonder goal! Now only your even louder roaring can be heard 😆

Went 0-4 at my local One Piece OP17 release event tonight. Only been playing a few months and despite my results, feels like I’ve improved so much! All bar one match went to time (30 mins) and needed extra to try and wrap them up. (Silly mistakes cost me in two of ‘em😅) Was a really fun evening!

One Piece TCG cards. A picture of the deck I constructed from packs supplied to me - the Black Maria card on top, along with the Rainbow Luffy leader card and my DON!! Card deck next to it. Plus my Char Aznable themed playmat (designed by HeyImHelly on IG.)

Now their World Cup campaigns officially over, I hereby politely demand that the Arsenal medical staff put Saka, Rice & Saliba each into an equivalent of a rejuvenation chamber from the Frieza saga in Dragon Ball Z for at least a month.

7 years ago I saw my favourite band, Metallica, for what I genuinely thought would be the last time I ever see them live. This weekend I saw them twice, each night a completely different set list. They were incredible! If this was actually the last time I saw them live, what a way to go out!

Appreciate some folks on here might not be aware, but say hello to Freddie! This lovely chap came to our home in January and can confirm he very much rules the house now 😂 In an effort to post more frequently, expect the majority of my posts to likely be photos of him for your enjoyment 🙂

Recently got a new office chair replacing the one I’ve had since early 2020. It was amazing and endured me for years😅 Got a new chair from a different manufacturer but it just didn’t work for my body. So I got a new one from the manufacturer of my 2020 chair. Two weeks later, this has happened😑

Picture of the broken wheel housing dock/connector of my office chair. The chair lasted two weeks.

Tried to get tickets for the Black Sabbath gig at Villa Park through a pre-sale today and failed~! Would love to be there, but I went into this fully expecting *not* to be able to get a ticket - especially given the pricing - but will try again during general sale on Friday on the off chance.

Not sure how many folks are playing Pokémon TCG Pocket, but if you want to add me my ID is: 0110545315489859 I’m not one for mobile games but this has been a delight to play when I can in between things. Not done any premium/real money stuff either. Very happy with my experience thus far 🙂

Went to the Arsenal match last night and had a great time! The fact it was a pre-season friendly notwithstanding, a confident 4-1 victory against the German champions, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, is a great result! Ready for the season to start next week.

Been preparing to watch the AEW Full Gear PPV (for as long as I’m awake) tonight by watching some Yu-Gi-Oh subtitled for the first time. Don’t know why. Is just how my brain is wired tonight. Genuinely never knew how on par the English dub casting of Pegasus was to the Japanese original.

The Comixology app being shut down completely beginning of December in favour of the Kindle app really sucks. Was to be expected after Amazon bought them, shut down the site and moved it all to Amazon proper. But still sucks. Oh and the Kindle app rarely works for me. Great 😑
