Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Well it was fun to watch the Red Sox make a huge run this summer but I think it’s time to say goodbye for the season. 010

Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I threw my Jackie Robinson jersey over my clericals this evening to begin an adult formation series using John Sexton’s Baseball as a Road to God as our text. I had the most faithful group of baseball diehards and we had a great time talking about baseball and faith and sacred time and space. ⚓️ 150
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I was just about to sit down to pray compline. I’ll keep you in my prayers this week! 021
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Seems like a good night to sit on my porch with some Wendell Berry poetry. 030
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Saturday is my only morning this week where I don’t have to get out of bed early but Liverpool is on now here so awake I am anyway. 140
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 20/08/2026A pipe, a pint, the Book of Common Prayer, and some poetry was the perfect way to wind down on my porch tonight after boys went to bed. ⚓️ 080

Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 26/05/2026I got to celebrate the eucharist today at the end of my pilgrimage in Santiago. What an absolute joy and privilege it was. I was joined by Fr. Daniel Moore, the current Anglican chaplain in Santiago. The Rt. Rev. Carlos López-Lozano, the Bishop for the Spanish Episcopal Church, also paid a visit. ⚓️ 0111
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 24/05/2026After walking 16 miles today, I sat with my feet in the river along with people from all over the world. It was pure joy. We spoke different languages, but we were having a shared experience in that cold water and understood one another. Not a bad way to spend Pentecost. ⚓️ 1112
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 23/05/2026While walking on the Camino I heard someone mentioning “the rector” and I immediately knew they were Episcopalian. It turns out they are walking with a group from their church and we had a great conversation. ⚓️ 1131
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 11/05/2026Please keep my students and I in your prayers. I’m back in Spain to take another cohort on the Camino and we begin walking on Wednesday. ⚓️ 1100

Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 07/04/2026Prayer is always appropriate and we should be in prayer daily. With that being said, today feels like a particularly important day to be in prayer, given the statements made by the President of the United States. ⚓ 0152

Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 03/04/2026Our youth group had a look in at the church last night and they assisted with sitting and praying at the Altar of Repose. We ended the time together praying the Stations of the Cross with them. Meaningful and sacred time (And I definitely need a nap before this evening). ⚓️ 060
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 03/04/2026The number of times I’ve said “We will get to that after Holy Week”……. 010
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 03/04/2026Praying for an hour at the Altar of Repose with the Blessed Sacrament is always one of my highlights of Holy Week. It is always so sacred and God feels so close. ⚓️ 070
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Ah. At Franklin & Marshall (where I work - which is a liberal arts college) polices are listed in the course catalog - including the policy around religious accommodations. 020
Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 01/04/2026I would. Do you know what the policies around religious accommodations are at your institution? 110

Joe Pritchett @jepritch.bsky.social · 17/03/2026As a pilgrimage nerd, I'm very excited about Archbishop Mullally's pilgrimage to Canterbury. I'm hoping it will continue to serve as a vehicle to promote pilgrimage in the UK and in other places as well. ⚓ 0170
