Heres my Star LC-10 Dot Matrix Printer. Had it as a child. Now it lives again – and (shouldn‘t) explode and let the magic smoke out anymore. Have some nice W&T Interfaces too! (Centronics to Commodore/IEC) #StarMicronics #DotMatrix #Printer

Found my childhood printer (Star LC-10) But as i was cleaning it: These two little showstoppers appeared! Oh no! Are those the famous RIFA-Twins? @janbeta.net to the rescue! I know its better to replace them but can i just „rip“ them out for now & do i need to bridge the traces after that?

My „new“ and now fully restored Commodore MPS 802 Dot Matrix Printer. Cleaned, lubed and replaced the ROM with the „Grafik-ROM II V60.12“. Now it can do Graphics - @janbeta.net would be proud (i hope) 😉 Sadly the ribbon is quite faint and replacements (carbon/film) are hard to find (if at all). 🥺

What the heck?! Cruising with my Kenworth in American Truck Simulator through Iowa & randomly saw this. On first glance, it kinda made sense @lgr-yt.bsky.social (LGR Electronics) next to a Dukes Tavern (Mayonnaise?/Nukem?) 😁 on closer look its L&R, but still funny. 😀 #CruisingIowa #ATS @scssoft.com

Wouldn‘t a Point-'n-Click Adventure game in the Rivers-of-London Universe be amazing? Who doesn‘t want to play a magical-„enabled“ Police Constable in a rich and living fantastical (written) world full of mysterious stories and thrilling adventures? Imagine all the beautiful places and scenes. [1/2]
