If Gemini is not making you go "no no no" - please tell me why! We are raising a generation of kids who will be talking to tech more than real people! Their confidant cannot be an AI bot! please no! #EDUSky

is this a collaborative project where teachers are sharing what the students are creating - which I think would be a great idea or is it just good ideas for classes to use individually?? lots of good ideas - #EDUSky

so the next time you see it, you probably noticed this already, but in "the wizard and I" when she gets to the cliff, there's a rainbow and blue birds are flying over the rainbow! :) that's one of my favorite Easter eggs! Plus all the Wizard of Oz music that's written in so seamlessly

Jennifer Wagner @jenwagner.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

after I've seen a movie several times, sometimes I will only watch one character! I admit once all I watched was Toto in the Wizard of Oz! Enjoy Wicked w/ your mom!

Jennifer Wagner @jenwagner.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

I would agree, except I think the mission impossible part two is coming out in May and I don't think the studios would want them to be in conflict of each other!

Tyler H was a student of mine (for a bit - in Corona) in the early 2000's - but I had lost track of him! I think he would be a very good superman! I will need to watch that show!!

Jennifer Wagner @jenwagner.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

saw WICKED again & liked it even more - the 1st viewing was WAY too much for my eyes to see! I cried this time during defying gravity! Next Nov seems way too far away!

I knew him when he was 13 or 14ish - very kind, no ego - Im glad he seems to be staying that way!

Movie Review: Wicked (4.85 - need pt 2 to be 5)-pretty incredible singing, dancing, sets, costumes! Did not seem almost 3 hours! Cynthia Erivo WILL win the oscar! Extra plots & cameos okay but I would rather have 1 LONG movie! Muffin's mom doesn't know story, so I am silent Pt2! WILL see again!

I liked simplify3d -- sorry, not sure about cura use- flash forge also uses Flashprint - you can look into that. I liked the closed door on the flashforge - temp control & fingers stayed away :)

110

Jennifer Wagner @jenwagner.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

we had a flash forge and used with 3rd grade up - easy to set up & use, we used with tinkercad software & Simplify3d to convert files! Kids can do by themselves after a couple times - print out step 1, step 2, etc! Under $300 & they are having black friday sale! enjoy

I am enjoying the simplicity that #EDUSky has - reminds me of 2007 twitter - but as with everything, this platform will probably evolve! (both for good & bad, I am sure) I am here for edtech & friendships! If it becomes crowded w/ content that I don't wish to see, I will block content!

Canva help really appreciated -- i'm trying to add a three column table and resize the column widths & row heights and just not working! and also are there vision accessibility options like rulers or edge border so I can easily see the page layout? thank you for your help.

I truly am humbled by so many new followers! But a simple FYI, if you are an educator but have no picture or no profile, I will wait to follow til you do. If you're a company, I probably won't follow! If you're not an educator, no need to follow me! Thank you! #EDUSky

& found on internet -- Osmo games are available online & in retail outlets such as Target & the Apple Store. Osmo was acquired by Byju's in January 2019 for $120 million. On January 25, 2024, lenders began bankruptcy proceedings against Osmo's parent company Byju's. Byju did raise $$ #EDUSky

question: what do you mean by "fund"

110

Jennifer Wagner @jenwagner.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

A7 - always good resources, creative ideas, conference recaps. Maybe a blog post that were given a week in advance and then questions/thoughts/kickback that we can respond to regarding that blog post. (or book, youtube)! #TheEdCollab & both pros & cons conversation of new tech advancements

010

Jennifer Wagner @jenwagner.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

a6 - that I expect them to be creative, unique, show respect, be kind, be inquisitive - never a cookie cutter & they could expect the same from me! That I was so blessed to be their teacher! & if I didn't know an answer for them, I would try to find it! (I taught in computer lab) #TheEdCollab
