I have heard from multiple sources today that lawyers who provide Know Your Rights presentations in ICE detention centers have been kicked out completely. These presentations are sometimes the only way people in detention find out details about the process they’re going through.

Chandelier Bee Quilt. Made as a gift for one of my children, of all bee fabrics (d62zadma0c9t.cloudfront.net/assets/1/pdf...). Long arm quilted by Trace Creek Quilting (tracecreekquilting.com/longarm-quil...) who did an AMAZING job and even fixed some problems that I had caused in my sewing.

Hourglass quilt: made with flannel (including a large number of scraps and backed with a very old sheet; hand quilted. Pattern found here: www.missouriquiltco.com/products/sup... Turned out very soft and kind of heavy, given the way the material is cut, sewed, recut, and resewed.

Did a few quilts this fall and will post some images of them. I am still learning, so there are imperfections galore, but my kids love them and they are definitely made with love! (Images are not always of the full quilts, as I don't have a space to take pictures that is open and spacious!)
