I heard the Velcro “rrrrip!” in the back of the chair and was not surprised to suddenly find a paw grabbing my butt through the inside of my recliner. This used to happen often during Cheshire’s kitten year. She has recently been revisiting all her old bad habits. #catsofbluesky #cats

Changed these 70s cameo pics I thrifted years ago into Elphaba and Glinda for my Oz themed office/guest room. Been wanting to do this for a while! #wicked #crafts #crafting

I love when people buy my novels around the holidays. I like thinking of them wrapping them for Chanukah or Christmas, or taking one with them on a trip to see family. I like thinking of the books traveling through airports, or waiting under a tree. I like being a part of it all, silently.

Legs for my TinMan. The feet ended up being perfect. The leg pipe actually fits right into the “ankle” of the foot pipe by several inches. So it’s super stable. Way better than I expected! I am starting my day feeling really happy and hopeful! #wizardofoz #wicked #halloween

Went to Construction Junction with a friend and for $15 we found this massive wooden Cheshire Cat head and tail. It barely fit in my car. Thanks to my friend who took the tail out of the store while I wrangled the head. A future Halloween will use this guy! I love him.

Not sure this will succeed. Had this idea I could make Oz’s head out of a beach ball. The texture of this one is sticky & gross. It picks up hair & lint like it’s its job. Since I have nothing to lose, I used some acrylic paint to shape the head. I don’t know if that will stay or peel off.
