This is the saddest news. And by now, it's just news. People will just shrug their shoulders and walk on. What has become of us. 😢

Tried to explain to a 11-year old today why people elect leaders who don't care about their people. Because these people don't think it applies to them. Isn't true. Either a leader cares about all of their people or none?

Why is everything suddenly upside down. It's like half of the world population have all of sudden forgot human rights.

Just watched the movie War dogs and cannot help but wonder how many people work against their own values each day. Because the money. But maybe, just maybe, money is not all that it's cracked up to be.

For the history books. The people across borders were just living their lives. But there were some men far away who had everything they could possibly need that wanted more. Always more. So they made the neighbours fight each other. To lose the little they had. Perhaps someday, the people say no. 🕊

I will never not be baffled by cryptocurrency. People buy virtual tokens that have no intrinsic value, hoping they will become more valuable over time. Which can only happen if other people are willing to buy them at a higher price. Basically, I have this air, will you buy it?

Israel’s idea that they are going to show Greta & the Freedom Flotilla crew violent Oct 7th videos in order to convince them that they are in the wrong… …just utterly exposes how profoundly tribalistic, barbaric and emotionally underdeveloped the Israeli government is.

I sometimes wonder how people decide to be on the wrong side of history. They must know right from wrong. The rule is simple: treat others like you would like to be treated. How can they choose the wrong side? 🤔

If so, then that's the wrong ball. But maybe balls are all they have left. Both have definitely lost their marbles.

It is unbearable 💔 But we must not loose hope. I have never met one regular person who wants to go to war. Who wants to kill other people. What do normal folk get out of wars. Both sides, nothing but sorrow.

Now it happened. Trump came into my dreams. I was having a deep chat with him. He looked small, tired and lost. I said, I understand, you need adoration because you have never felt real love. And you need hate, because you don't love yourself, and hate is more real and familiar. What an odd dream.

This debate has been puzzling me for a long time. I hope it's ok to ask, why do people mix feminism (women to have equal rights to men) with trans rights (fx allowed to use bathroom of gender they identify with)? I don't get fx when some say you cannot be a feminist if you are not pro trans rights.

Sure. But I'm specifically addressing this headline and all other headlines similar to this. It sounds like Greenland made the deal in order to humiliate Trump. That's a wild claim. And also false, that is not the reason. This type of spinning is bad journalism. It's not what we need.

Jenni Milleni @jennimilleni.bsky.social · 24/05/2025

I'm so tired every effing news headline being about this guy. This is not reporting. This is spinning things. Maybe not everything has to be about him. Greenland does not make decisions based on childish urges like we want to humiliate some petty little man. Do better.

I'm so tired of every effing headline nowadays having to spin things as humiliation or blow or whatever to Trump. Why not just leave him out of it. Don't even mention him. Not everything is about him. And this is spinning things, not neutral reporting. Do better.

I actually don't know what he said about Iran, but doesn't this apply to everything he says. Simple test: Does Trump use his power for good or bad when he fx slurs "I hate Taylor Swift"? He is using his power to incite hate, not to unite Americans.

Cool 😊 But exactly, there are some truths that don't change no matter what. Anyone in power is susceptible to bribes. But not everyone can resist them.

And doing stuff. I'm Finnish, and if our president accepted a lavish airplane as a "gift" from, let's say Russia, there would be no doubt what that was.

The plain bribery aside, which is just 🤯. I hate the way he has to throw shit towards the person asking a question he doesn't like every fucking time. How can a president be so juvenile. How does that not make everyone cringe.

Don't be fooled. He is not that stupid. He has very calculatively created a persona that appeals to a lot of people. There is some evil kind of intelligence in cult leaders that can do that. It's 100% tailored to specific recipients, his followers.

And most people who made it there understand that it was the system that enabled it. They got a free education and a job in a company that can pay such salaries. Or they established a company that can hire workers who are also well educated and contribute to the growth.

Why do Danes happily pay the highest taxes in the world? The highest rate is around 53% for highest salaries. Outrageous you might think, but this doesn't make them poor. They still earn a lot, have big houses and buy whatever they want. If you have made it to this bracket, you are well off.
