It was not lost on me that it was also Black History Month. While a painful look back on the egregious treatment of people of color in this country, it is necessary so we don’t forget. It is necessary so we can process these heinous acts and heal. It’s necessary so we don’t go backwards, ever.

I use Libby frequently. However many of my favorite indie authors use KU as a primary revenue source so I’m not leaving them. I read the book on KU and then if I loved it I buy it as an ebook so they get paid twice. Several of my favs aren’t on Libby because they aren’t published traditionally.

Hang in there sweet boy! You pursue your dreams for you and no one else. As a woman in tech, I was often the only woman at the table and I get it. You automatically stand out, when you don’t choose it. Many days I just wanted to be “one of the guys”, and silenced myself. Don’t be like me. 💜
