I was sitting here being embarrassed by my mistakes on this Oseberg band pattern, when I had to stop and remind myself I had barely even HEARD of tablet weaving two weeks ago! (My secret to troubleshooting is I have made all the mistakes, so now I recognize them.) #weaving #TabletWeaving

I took this pic at a cafe in Quito, Costa Rica. We had just finished a hike in Manuel Antonio to see sloths from 30 ft away and then went to the cafe, where this guy was just hanging out on a tree behind the restrooms! One of the best days of my life!

My "anything else" thoughts. I'm serious that AI is the reason I took my stuff off Patreon and Wattpad. I support a few people on Patreon but if the platform embraces AI, I'm out.

My response in a box: My page is currently inactive because I stopped sharing my work online because I did not want it harvested by the plagiarism machine. I also took it off Wattpad. I figured it would be harvested BEFORE we were told you were interested in feeding our creative work to the maw in order to eliminate human creativity. Patreon exists for humans to support other humans in creative endeavors. Why would I pay for someone else to use a machine to generate a simulacrum of art?
