I have spent all week in high pain mode and I'm super cranky today because all my coping spoons are gone. Nerve pain is the worst.

Yup. 25 years here. I did fix the belt in the dryer and the lid in the washer 5+ years ago

At this point I'm willing to pay more for appliances that don't connect

And wouldn't that be breach of contract if they wont let him play?

Have my pop shoppe black cherry cola and my Hawkins cheesies. Wearing an @cfl.ca shirt. Feeling very 🍁

Definitely complicates things.

But also not objectionable.

I guess it's a good thing that it tastes like either but ick. No thank you. What is wrong with plain old mint?

Or on cotton balls on the tea towels. I noticed they stay away from me when I'm wearing it for a headache.

Getting back into freelance mode was harder than I thought. My old quote templates were good enough back when I was freelancing but I've got higher standards now. Not sure I want to do this full time but it's a starting point.

I don't want to turn the heat on but I am loving the cooler weather.

Don't you have a child who can get that?

Jenn Annis @jennannis.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

Especially considering there wasn't a ton of drama in the race... It feels like they felt they had to manufacture it later.

After the chequered flag seems to be the key term there.

It turns out that the very best No Kings Day protest yesterday was the one staged by the United States Armed Forces in Washington—because if you've seen any of the military experts on social media or cable news today you know that their poor marching was deliberate and intended as an insult to Trump

18. Years. Old. 🤯 #F1 #CanadianGP

115915

Having worked podiums at Indycar races we had identical non alcohol bottles on hand. I imagine F1 is the same. Or they pay the fine. Luckily Kimi is legal in Quebec (but not in all of Canada)

It doesn't apply to Max but Canadians use it a lot. Usually in the phrase "yeah, no for sure bud"

The composure he has at 18 is remarkable

I'm thrilled for Kimi! He is young and talented and a credit to driver development. This is the first of many podiums. #F1 #CanadianGP

The cursed 2nd seat approach might work but I think Stroll Sr. Likes take your kid to work day.

000

Max has pulled similar stunts when leading under safety car. George shouldn't have brake checked him, but the outrage from Red Bull fans is overdone. #F1

000

Pretty much. They get curious and pop out. They will also keep coming back even if you remove them. Stubborn critters.

000

That was NOT a car sized gap Lando. #F1

000

His dad must be VERY patient. If my dad owned an #F1 team I might get a few races of lenient treatment but if I performed like Lance I'd be gone.

201

But there's racing a lot more than when F1 is in town. There's a racing school and ways to take private vehicles around...

100

If they'd been watching it non stop they would have absolutely made their feelings known. The fans in Montreal are knowledgeable and not afraid of voicing opinions.

020

Nope. Sounds like they see the race but f1 movie ads are superimposed for tv

120

The groundhogs were never going to stay away from the cars. Every encounter I have had with a groundhog has left me amazed at the lack of survival instincts most of them possess. #F1 #CanadianGP

000

Living in a rural part of Canada, I could have told you they don't learn to stay away from farm equipment...

100

It is only on TV - the screen is showing the race at the track according to fans in the grandstands.

Looks like he may have hit a groundhog. He's the only one with damage

040

You have to wonder about the survival instincts of the creature that continues to pop up when cars are flying around.

000

So much this. It's how I can cheer for drivers on different teams

So basically like half the cars on the road...

000

The net costs probably work out about the same given the number of people involved on a brake change in F1.

I love the #CanadianGP - it's a permanent course that has passing opportunities and when the weather cooperates it's always a great race. #F1

000

It's a wonderful city - though race week is always chaotic there.
