I refuse to let the forces of evil take my mental health. I refuse to allow the hatred and anger propagated by men with small dicks into my heart. I refuse the despair, anger, and why bother energy. I resist and protest LOUDLY as part of a MASSIVE community of good people. We are not alone.

I so often read things that tell me I’m invisible at this age. And that by being invisible, I’m freed. But that idea still centers the male gaze. I’m free because I choose to be, not because someone doesn’t see me anymore.

I saw The Last Show Girl last night. Yes, it's an indictment of capitalism & what it does to women but Pamela Anderson's character is not a victim. She loves what she does. But does she love it because she was trained to love the male gaze as a beautiful woman? Or? Any thoughts?

Loved this novel -- fantastic world building, wonderful mystery deftly handled, neurodivergent main characters - loved Ana Dolabra - and often funny. Can't wait for next book in the series.

Reading pieces here and there about literature trends for 2025, and everybody I’ve read has missed the most obvious one. WOMEN’S RAGE. I predict we’ll see many, many books about women who have HAD IT. Might I be writing one of those books? Yes, and I am not alone.
