[Food pic] I’ve had a pork belly sitting in the deep freeze for months taunting me (never actually cooked one before), so I finally gave in and tried cooking it using a crispy skin method. It mostly came out okay, though I didn’t get off quite enough of the salt […] [Original post on social.lol]

I ended up breaking out the bread maker this weekend and made a loaf of simple white bread. Oh, and some beef stew to go along with it for good measure. Both turned out splendidly. #cooking #baking

Went with the wife to a local coffee shop this morning as the kids are with their grandparents this weekend. It was lovely.

Two blue cups of latte art, a paper bag of coffee beans, and a potted plant with bamboo stalks on a wooden table.

I’ve gotten used to the majority of updates and changes made in iOS 26 after a few days of use, except for one: Safari. It just feels so different with the address bar made more compact and so many things hidden behind the ellipses button.

I have really, really been hoping all the image leaks of the iPhone 17 designs were wrong, but as we get closer and closer to the announcement dates it sure doesn’t seem that way. Why in god’s name would they extend the camera island the whole width of the phone […] [Original post on social.lol]

I was feeling guilty for not water the plants last night, but I guess it’s a moot point now 🌧️

Cozy fires pair well with a good German pilsener beer
