These are the *worst* memorable questions I've ever seen. You could get these answers out of someone you've never met within an a few hours. 😅
A series of "memorable questions" asked by an online registration form for security: What is your mother's maiden name? What is your place of birth? A memorable date (dd/mm/yyyy).

So I saw PlanetScale's website rebrand for the first time a couple of days ago and... 🤮🤮🤮 It's hideous! Truly and utterly hideous! It looks like some side project by a 15-year-old who recently discovered Linux and nerd fonts Their product is great, but this website ruins it, and looks 💩.

I'm grateful for this release. However it shouldn't have taken this long. We ended up having to migrate away from corepack as a result of this issue. Idk whether or not @nodejs.org is still planning to remove corepack or not, but regardless we've reverted to installing @pnpm.io separately.

In CSS it would be great if there was a way to constraint the width of an element but still have the background colour/image bleed outside of it. Afaik this isn't possible and as such you require a "container" element to hold the content and an "outer" element which sets the background colour/image

The tech sector has suffered three gruelling years of mass layoffs putting over half a million people out of a job. While the jobs market is starting to recover, the market is saturated with tens if not hundreds of thousands of talented, experienced, and well-connected professionals. 🧵

Scheduling messages and emails is great, especially so when working in an async team. It means you can get a message across without having to feel like you might disrupt them during non-work hours, and it also helps avoid the temptation to login outside work hours.

Poor Safari 😅 Also, who in their right mind is putting documentation? Web docs are some of the best out there imho. Be that MDN, web.dev or developer.chrome.com 😃
A horizontal bar chart titled "Browser APIs Pain Points," showing a ranked list of common obstacles developers face with browser APIs. The top issue, "Browser support," occupies about 35% and is significantly higher than the others. Following it are smaller bars for "Safari" (6%), "Lack of documentation" (5%), "Performance" (3%), "Excessive complexity" (3%), "Firefox issues" (2%), and "<input type='date'>" (2%). The chart’s caption notes that poor browser support is the top obstacle, with Safari and insufficient documentation also highlighted. Each bar is color-coded and includes a percentage label, and the right-hand side shows corresponding numeric counts of respondents.
