Highly recommend Dialogue UI for Forever. I use it in retail as well and I love the way it make the text boxes look! I would disable the zoom effect and just make it shift the camera Horizontally though.

Did You Know: The reason the sun rises and sets from the same direction in WoW is because early world textures were designed with intentional directional lighting and shadows. So to make sure they were never off, they had the light always come from the same direction!

Revisiting the place where Jen and I had our first date back in 2009. We both made level 1 humans on the same server and hung out next to the fountain and chatted for hours. Weird how a digital location can be such a special place for us.

Unfortunately its an internal dev build tool. :(

Showing you how we use the tools you helped build wasn’t something I ever thought I’d be doing!

Well first, you need an internal dev build...

On Monday I gave the entire WoW team an overview of the capture tool we use for making social content. I was very nervous. It went well though!

It's a simple thing but finally having Dordwyn's full name in the game is really amazing.

Lol just to be clear, I'm not involved in the amazing work these teams do with cutscenes! I don't even know how to fully use the tool they use. But I'm learning!

The Timeline Editor tool to be specific. Social uses a camera tool for our capture usually, but Timeline Editor is more complex, but more robust. I honestly would love to be able to make social content with it eventually!

I can't usually share the behind the scenes stuff of what internal builds I use for the content we make for socials looks like, but if you want a peek, check out the "Building Cutscenes" panel! The main tool they use here is one I'm teaching myself to use. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix4d...

By “Dordwyn” I mean in my Dwarf cosplay in case that’s unclear. People clapping for regular me would make even less sense haha

The funniest moment for me at Blizzcon was Sunday night when I was Dordwyn in the Hilton Lobby. I walked around the corner and suddenly a group of people see me and start clapping. Others caught on and half of the lobby was suddenly clapping and cheering for me haha. All I did was walk by!

I know I'm not a dev. I don't make WoW. But the hype, and excitement from the community about all the awesome things coming to the game has filled my heart and strengthened my resolve to do my very best at sharing WoW with you all through WoW's Social. Goodnight Blizzcon.

The only sure fire way to meet me is at Darkmoon Fair After Hours on Saturday. It's a sold out ticketed even so apologies, but it's the only way I could cosplay at all since I'll be working for most of the event. I hope to see some of you there!

I don't actually think that is true. Why remake a game beloved by an older generation rather than making a new one? IMO we are a large part of the target audience. Not the entire target audience but definitely part of it.

Was doing some quests with Chromie while working on Loremaster and was inspired to make this fan render. I call it "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once".
