Wildfires in the Canadian province of Manitoba, which shares a border with the United States, have prompted authorities to declare a state of emergency and order tens of thousands of people to leave their homes. Winds will likely blow wildfire smoke into Midwestern states.

#MeteorologicalWinter began Dec 1! And the infrared satellite @NOAASatellites has that cold winter look to it. When the air is as cold as the clouds. (The clouds are moving; the air is not)
