I should be more specific: Ford Motor Company purchased the blueprints and patents for a fuel-efficient automobile engine in the first decade of the 20th century and locked 'em away to keep people from purchasing LESS gasoline from Standard Oil. I learned about this 26 years ago.

I have to agree, despite the fact that the Fever have typically overperformed in Clark's absence; those ladies melded into a team when Clark arrived. Sadly, Cunningham is now a drag on the Fever, putting a target on that squad for the rest of the league, and for good reason.
