Boooom!!! Yes 🙂. I think I sourced and located the only half decent CD in Benidorm at 1 Euro from the second hand shop.

I dug out some Euro oddities from one of the second hand shops in Benidorm. One is a particularly bad album cover (intentionally I understand) praising the virtues of cellulite.

Back to the serious chazza finds, priced up mind you but LP in good condition.

010

James Moore @jemoore.bsky.social · 15/01/2026

DOH! 4 for £1 I meant. Only quality at that price 🤑

000

James Moore @jemoore.bsky.social · 15/01/2026

To think I could have bypassed the bargain 7 inch single rack at 3 for £1 if not for @beanygreen.bsky.social 😁.

What a weird pricing quirk on amazon, I've noticed this a few times now with certain genres. New vinyl being cheaper than the CD. Any comments or similar finds welcome 🤷‍♂️

#vinylsanta, I'm getting wigged out now to regain my "lost fluffiness" and imagine I was a child of the 60's! 🤒🥴. Trippy or what!? Think this will be my only snowball given I'm in work tomorrow. Thanks @vinylsanta organisers for all your hard work again this year. Have a blessed Christmas all! x

Thankyou #vinylsanta whoever you are 🙂. A well thought out bumper selection which I will enjoy. I will groove along to a swingin Christmas before I go sleep and enjoy a bit of Gordon before the new year 🤑 x.

#nowspinning another of yesterdays chazza finds. Soaring vocals from Bob Catley. Fine slice of pomp rock!

Now playing one of my chazza finds. Trying to get into the festive spirit for a change 😅 #nowplaying

Great gig at Manchester Gorilla last night seeing Brogeal with @kyllieg.bsky.social! Supported by Denver County Council. Fantastic bands, plenty of energy.

Settled on my choice of listening for tonight's train journey into work. R.I.P. Dave Ball

Been searching high and low of this LP, can't find it anywhere 🤔.

Great gig last night seeing Alan Fletcher at the International in Leicester. A great Aussie icon, alongside his wife Jennifer Hansen, supported by Riley Catherall and band. All bringing great vibes from down under, great musicians and lovely people. Wishing you all well with the rest of the tour.

When you don't plan on spending money nor think your local chazza will have anything of interest, but pop in for a browse. £3 later 😆.......

James Moore @jemoore.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

I was just playing this chazza find from a while back when @kyllieg.bsky.social informed me that the music is nice and relaxing and it is the wolf moon tonight, so it seems appropriate. My only complaint is that the sounds of wolves howling could be more prominent!

I do like Maiden when they get proggy....

Thanks to whoever posted the link the other day for these chart shows - just magic! I'm just listening to the full chart show from when I was born 🙂. I knew Pink Floyd were no1 but never listened to the full chart. Now I have the link on my phone but can't find the original post 😆🤒.

Another of my chazza purchases from Leicester. I am not very knowledgeable about #Megadeth, so I was pleased to discover Rust In Peace tops many fan rankings online. The guy serving me informed me he had only just put it out 5 minutes before I picked it up.

Transatlantic x3 CD & blu-ray set, one of the best bargains I've seen for a while on amazon, still a great deal even though mine was 60p cheaper at time of purchase 😜. #prog #transatlantic

James Moore @jemoore.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

This was my first and cheapest chazza purchase today for 50p in Syston. Can't find it on discogs, but the sticker alone sold it to me.

If you see this, post a concert picture you took this year. I think this was the only gig we did this year with @kyllieg.bsky.social. Future Islands at South Facing Festival, Crystal Palace.

James Moore @jemoore.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

What's that one like? Got into Judas Priest late, just listening to the new album Invincible Shield having read / listened to reviews. It is very good so far, better than listening to my Mum whittling.

I'll 'ave a bit of this of its got Modern Eon and They Must Be Russians on it! #vinylsanta @vinylsanta.bsky.social. Don't want any "groundless accusations" made though, pardon the pun.

Pics would help! DOH! Not had any sherry either sorry. Thankyou @vinylsanta.bsky.social #VinylSanta. A thoughtful selection which I'll enjoy playing. Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas! 🥳. Some cracking post punk type stuff on the compilation 👌 🙂.

#NowPlaying Pete Sinfield - Still. It is very of its time, but in a most wonderful way. My continuing musical education is now coming from the most unlikely sources.

I need to make it a resolution next year to get the CD collection in order and do less "squirrelling." Tried making a start on #CDFriday. What do you think @kyllieg.bsky.social?

@kyllieg.bsky.social if we have time for even more music tomorrow before you go to Liverpool.....do you want vintage or old Joni Mitchell? You decide. Dunno why I'm asking on here when you're in the next room, it's just more fun 😂😜. If following, which would you play first? #CDFriday .....into Sat

Yes I am partial to a bit of "Yacht Rock." To my knowledge, the term is similar to Krautrock insofar as it was invented by journalists. It broadly covers a smooth soft rock style typical of artists like Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Christopher Cross. Revived by Young Guns Silver Fox!
